Woke at 3:30 AM to see the weather prediction for Amarillo was snow and cold. Decided to stay in Wichita Falls again and went back to sleep. I woke at 7:30 and spent time drinking coffee and reading. It was so cold I could see Chassis' breath INSIDE the RV! Woke Norm and said it would be warmer on the road than it was inside, so we started to get ready to hit the road.
Our jack light and alarm was going off, even though the jacks were up! Grapple started while we were hooking up the car! (small, hard pieces of ice that can cover the ground like snow if enough falls). We took off anyway!
You won't believe this, but we missed the gas station stop that we scouted out previously. So, another ramp to get back onto the interstate, exit at the next ramp, back on the interstate & headed a bit further to find the right station. Things I forgot to do were....remember the shower curtain rod? Pantry supplies hit the floor when the door slid open, dog's water dish spilled and bedroom drawers opened! Good news was, the jack alarm stopped after 45 minutes.
Landed in Amarillo at dinner time. Pan fried steak wasn't too bad, and the furnace worked!
