OK Kim, this one's for you.  And so it begins....

Left Okeechobee, Fl on April 1st, 2013 heading for Cedar Key, Fl.   So many wonderful people stopped to say goodby.  Leaving family and friends is so hard.  Getting to family and old and new friends softens the blow.   We were lucky enough to travel caravan style with fellow workampers and dear friends, Mike, Belinda and Tyler Daly.

The preparations for leaving went relatively well with the exception of the shower curtain rod getting in the way of each of our heads.  Explanation is; shower curtain rod holds sliding pantry door closed while traveling.  Shower curtain rod goes from one side of RV horizontally to the other side of the RV.  Shower curtain rod is placed approximately head high.  Both Norm's head and my head made contact with shower curtain rod. (more than once)  Fortunately, no bloodshed.

The good news is the bathroom floor is now spotless after my graceful attempt to flush the toilet with a 500 lb (slight exaggeration) plastic jug of water, who's cap popped off and who's water supply filled the bathroom floor.  We now need to replenish the paper towel supply and the flush water supply!

The traveling was uneventful.  We weren't able to make radio contact with the Dalys, but texting worked!

Dinner was a great fish sandwich with fries & beer on the water. (Seabreeze something)  Our old favorite restaurant with a pier (Coconuts) had a fire a few months ago and is not going to re-open.  Sad news, but we still were able to enjoy the sunset and our friends' company.

Stay tuned..
