Day #20 Casper, WY to Columbus, Montana

Traveling along and just as I was saying we had not seen any wildlife on this trip, I saw antelope.  This was an accomplishment as usually Norm is the first to spot the wildlife.  He is actually supposed to be watching the road….

We crossed into Montana at 12:40 pm.  All is well except it is really windy.  The weather predictions are getting bad again for Sunday.  Our destination for today was to be Big Timber, MT but in reading the campground book a little closer, we found out they don’t open until May 15^th!!  It seems our routes, and the number of nights we plan to stay keep changing.  What were we thinking when deciding to leave April 1st?

Found Columbus and a small campground right off the highway for the night.  Less expensive than most AND they have water!!  Also found a good gas station for the next fill-up, a grocery store and a spirits/wine boutique.  Not a bad place to stay.

We will see what tomorrow brings…
