The campsite in Texarcana was so un-level that we had to hike uphill towards the bedroom. We woke to find my HOLE IN ONE congratulations helium filled balloon even drifted downhill into the living room. Did I say Hole in one??
We traveled on a nice country road (route 82) passing lots of green pastures, barns, rolling hills, more cows and horses, ranches and even saw a Llama and Buffalo in one corral!
Sky was pretty gray, but no rain. Checking weather updates for this journey and we may run into snow. Re-calculating.........
Campground in Wichita Falls is nice. Lots of open spaces, a pretty lake, waterbirds and a multi-hydrant dog park. Chassis would rather look for a dog!
Watched Jimmy J win the NASCAR race, then took a short ride and a 1 mile round-trip walk to a waterfall. Very pretty spot. Then another quick grocery store trip to gather some of the things we forgot at the last stop. Ismarelda showed us the way there and back. Even though Ismarelda is younger and more talented, Norm prefers the old lady, Mandy. (GPS)
CMA award show was enjoyable. Managed to stay awake through most of it since we are Central time!
