Day #9 Still in Wichita Falls, TX

Started the day with more big breakfast, then back to Lucy Park for more disc golf.  Both of us did worse than day number one, but we did find all the tee boxes and goals this time.  

Warm and windy day.  After golf (& grocery store again) we sat in the shade of a bird filled tree and read.  Several of the campground workers stopped by to pet Chassis, warn us about sitting under a bird filled tree and to tell us the laundry room, etc would be unlocked in case of emergency shelter.  What????
Seems there is a severe storm prediction in Wichita Falls.  Heavy thunder storm and tornado watch.

Fixed dinner with the windows open and enjoyed the gusty breeze except for the fear of the gas stove having the flame blow out.  Funny, but the breeze turned to cold air within an hour's time.  Changed from shorts & Tee's to sweats & socks. (Sounds like Denver, CO weather).
About 3 AM the wind increased even more and the rain, thunder, lightning and hail started.  Needless to say Chassis is not a happy camper.  

Think we'll stay in bed.....
